Iliyana Kancheva is a stage designer and visual artist, living and working in Sofia, Bulgaria. In 2010 she graduated in Stage Design and in 2014 received a master degree in Digital Arts at the National Academy of Art, Sofia. Iliyana works in the field of theater as well as photography, video and installation. In 2021 she received a Diploma for contribution to the development and promotion of Bulgarian culture and national identity from the Ministry of Culture of Bulgaria. In 2022 Iliyana won the National Theater Award “Icarus” for scenography.
