
Veneta Androva studied History of Art and Philosophy at Humboldt University Berlin and Fine Arts/Sculpture at the Weißensee Academy of Art, as well as at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem. Her work merges archival, documentary, and computer-generated material with painting, unified through animation in simulated environments. Her film From My Desert was nominated for the German Short Film Award, while AIVA won the Prix Ars Electronica and Golden Horseman and LUCA Gender Diversity Award at Filmfest Dresden. Her films and artworks have been shown internationally.
