Dorotea Dolinšek (SI) is an artist based in Ljubljana. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Painting from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia, and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana, at the Video and New Media Art department. Dorotea’s work explores the intersection of ecology and technology, focusing on extreme environments, particularly outer space, which she juxtaposes with Earth’s deep ecological crisis. She has exhibited both locally and internationally, including at Kapelica Gallery (SLO), Ars Electronica (AUT), the Museum of Contemporary Art (CRO), 798 Cube (CHI) and elsewhere.
