Alexandra Costea is an emerging visual artist from Romania, working at the intersection of analog photography, alternative techniques, and new media. She holds master’s degrees in photography and printmaking and is currently pursuing doctoral studies in Timișoara. Her practice focuses on affective memory and environment, using materials like stone, wood, or textiles to explore identity, loss, and perception. Through processes such as cyanotype and liquid emulsion, she creates works that evoke traces of the past and layered perceptions of reality. Her projects have been shown in exhibitions across Romania and internationally.
