The two authors of the performative installation "Membranes" Nikola L. Hein and Lukas Truninger will give two performances demonstrating the capabilities of these hybrid instruments, constructed from drum skins and electronic components, as devices for converting text into light pulses and percussion sounds. 

On October 22, there will also be an artist talk, during which the audience will learn more about their research and artistic practices and will be able to ask questions.
