The Secret Network of Mycelium (VIDEO)

The Secret Network of Mycelium (VIDEO)  is a multi-channel video installation that expands the research initiated with The Secret Life of Mushrooms (VIDEO) in 2023. The project explores identity-based disinformation through the phenomenon of so-called “mushroom websites” — automatically generated news platforms designed to influence public opinion. Combining 3D animation, machine learning, and elements of speculative documentary, the installation traces how such content is produced, distributed, and monetized. It examines disinformation not only as a technological phenomenon, but also as a cultural symptom — a reflection of fear, control, and the erosion of public trust.
